There is an extra-canonical story about our Lord Jesus. Oneday some Israelite Jews insulted Jesus and spoke evil against him as he was walking through their town. But in response, it was noticed by some, Jesus was repeating prayers for the welfare of each of them and their families. Someone who heard this very clearly came near him and asked, "You prayed for these men and their welfare, didn't you feel angry with them?" Jesus answered him, "I can give them only whatever I have in my purse!"
Lesson: "Good things come out of a good person and the good is always over and above the evil."
