Cross: Denial or Carrying

The story continues. It was said that on the following day the Angel Gabriel who works as God's special communication officer, had another short interview with the Saviour. He asked the Saviour, "Lord, yesterday you so nicely explained to me that you left your Cross in the world for everyone to love and carry, and that Cross would be the Key for entering into heaven. But as far as I remember you promised to give the Key only to St. Peter saying, 'I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.' Please brief me Lord, how did that monopoly of St. Peter's key get changed?" The Lord said to the officer, "Didn't you hear about the blunder my friend Peter committed at the last moment? Actually he was tested to see whether he could apply the Cross key properly on earth, but unfortunately when I was about to lift the heaviest Cross of me, to a servant -girl's simple query, he fell prey and gave the wrong password three times and that automatically blocked and denied him as the sole holder of the Cross key. Sorry officer, today I can't answer you any other tricky question, my Father is calling me to continue to sit at his right hand as the worship of the heavenly hosts is going on. Lesson: If we deny the Cross, the Cross will also deny us.
