"When we venture to do good to others, we should also be prepared to bear the disappointments. When we are unable to implement our good plans, we should face the failure without hesitation and tolerate the ingratitude of others.

We should be prepared to bear it with patience when our intentions are misportrayed and talked about. We should be prepared not to get discouraged when evil is done instead of the good we do.

Let us keep in mind that in all these situations, we are following the holy footsteps of our Lord, who suffered and endured with great patience for doing good.
