Deny or Die • Life of John Huss • Reformer

John Huss, the witness of the gospel, it was given a command to John Huss, "Deny or die". What is denial? The faith in the Lord Jesus Christ should be given up. 'If not, the death penalty.
Which one would you choose? John Huss is an avid Christian and clergy. For in those days there was no sound doctrine in the churches. The clergy and the pope were able to twist the Bible and preach the Gospel at will. They were seen as money-hungry and luxurious.
John Huss was very opposed to this. With a devotion to Christ, he explained truth in Bohemian language. John Wickliff had great respect for his teachings and bravely told them to the people.
So the enemies plotted to kill him. He was assigned by the Pope to attend a meeting of the audience. He was attacked in secret on the way to the trial and thrown into prison. He was eventually condemned to death for his faith. He prepared himself for the fire as if he were going to a wedding party.
They tied hands and feet to a tree. Hay and firewood were piled up to the neck And he lifted up his voice and praised the Lord even more, when the flames were lifted up. His ash, melted in the sea, travels the world and bears witness to the truth.
