With eyes aglow and heart so free,
A gentle light begins to seize us,
The savior smiles beneath the tree.
The children laugh with joy unspoken,
He lifts them up with tender grace,
Their fear dissolve, their chains are broken,
In love they find sacred place.
The lilies blow, the skies grow higher,
As Jesus speaks with them so kind,
Each soul feels warm, each steps feels lighter, He paints pure peace in the mind.
Oh, let us stay where love is reigning,
Children sits and find his songs,
With heart sincere and peace unfeigning,
The arms of Christ are wide and strong.
