⚡ David was educated at Serampore College and St John's College, Nottingham.
⚡ He was the editor of the Indian Journal of Missiology; Organizing Secretary of the National Missionary Society from 1982 to 1985;
⚡ General Secretary of the Indian Missionary Society from 1990 to 1992.
⚡ He was worked as the Professor of Leadership Training at Yavatmal College.
⚡ He has a thirst to revive the church for that he has been organising Revival Prayer Camp every year at the Diocesan level.
⚡ He has taken special efforts to start prayer cells throughout the Diocese. He has been insisting the regular family prayers in every confirmation service.
⚡ He started Diocesan Prayer Tower to offer prayer service to the needy people.
⚡ He started the Web site for Tirunelveli Diocese in the name of "www.csitirunelveli.org"
⚡During his leadership the Tirunelveli Diocesan Council was able to accept the resolution of ordination of women.
⚡ Two women were ordained in the year 2003.
⚡150th year Anniversary of "Narpothagam was celebrated in the year 1999.
⚡ He is the pioneer in bringing the resolution of Bifurcating the Diocese in the Diocesan Council and had the command to pass it in the same council. Further, during his period on 21-10-2003 the Diocese was bifurcated and the new Diocese Tuticorin - Nazareth emerged.
⚡ Lay Training Centre was built at Courtallam in the year 2003
⚡Under his leadership Tirunelveli Diocese had the previlege of hosting XXIV Quadernnial assembly of National Council of Churches in India.
⚡ He was elected as the NCCI President for a period of four years 2004 – 2008

4) 4) A Women's Working Centre at Pottalpatti was started for equiping the rural women for self employment- 2003
5) 5) T.D.T.A. Rehnius Eyecare Hospital at Alangulam - 2004

3) Nursing College
4) Industrial Training Institute at Araikulam.
He served as the faithful shepherd of God's people for the glory of God.
